Human Resources manager with Generalist skills

Responsible for providing effective Human Resources management for the plant to ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal/state laws.
Recruiting, hiring, training and termination of personnel.Benefits Administration
Counsel, advise adn train management on performance based issues including corrctive actional plans, terminations, and severance agreements
Employee relations
Affrmative Action
Harrassmant issues
Workers Comp
Oversee Safety and Environmental aspects of the plant

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent job-related experience
minimum 2 to 4 years of HR Generalist experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment - preferably a union environment
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Strong environmental and safety background
Experience with SAP or other HRIS
