Plant Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Training and Development, and the creation & administration of HR policies, procedures and processes in partnership with Division and Corporate HR leadership.
This role will lead the HR Transformation for the plant. This will include:
Creating policies and procedures where they do not exist or don’t align with the overall business strategy, consistent with policies and procedures at other plant locations
Developing and executing an Employee Engagement Strategy
Building credibility and partnerships with employees of all levels of the plant
Being visible, developing rapport and understanding of the plants business model
Structuring the HR function for success
Developing a strong Workforce Planning Model.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
7+ years previous experience in human resource management, employee relations, performance management, worker’s compensation, FMLA, employment law, planning and project management; 3+ years’ experience in a leadership position.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant is required.
Strong HR presence, capable of engendering trust and confidence of all elements of the workforce.
Collaborative/team-based management style.
Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills required.
Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment guidelines is required.
Strong computer skills including Windows-based programs such as Excel, PowerPoint,
