Human Resource Manager Position open with a growing service organization based in Mishawaka, IN.   If you are a well-rounded HR Generalist with at least four years of experience and ready to move to the HR Manager role this would be an ideal opportunity for you.   This role is more strategic and project oriented than day to day compliance based HR roles.  This is a family oriented organization.
Responsibilities
  • Corporate Culture driver- communicates the company Mission, Vision and Values from the recruiting phase through on-boarding.Work on building employee engagement and developing staff appreciation programs.
  • Recruiting – decide on sources to reach potential employees such as advertising, job fairs, college internships, and referral programs.Use social media to improve the organization’s public profile.Analyze the results of these programs.
  • Onboarding – Oversee the design and compliance of new hire orientation and teach the managers to utilize the tools.
  • Training and Development – work closely with regional managers to have the tools available to train staff.Analyze the utilization of the training for accreditation reporting.
  • Performance and Retention – support the managers to ensure reviews are done in a timely manner and promote retention of employees.
  • Benefit Administration- work closely with the CFO on the benefit offerings and communicating any changes to the employees.
  • Safety – develop a safety committee to review incidents and be pro-active in preventing accidents.Introduce any additional training that may be needed.
  • Record Keeping – ensure accurate and compliant personnel records are maintained and government or agency filings are completed in a timely manner.Keep staff handbook up to date.
  • Compliance experience with DOL, OSHA, Title IX, ADA, ACA, and HIPPA
Skills Preferred
 
  • Degree in HR or at least four years of well -rounded HR generalist experience.HR certification is a plus.
  • Analytical, critical thinking skills – ability to analyze data and identify trends
