Well established, growing organization with multiple distribution centers and a diverse customer base, has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Generalist. The position will report to the Director of Human Resources of a dynamic organization with excellent growth potential and a great culture.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can work with minimal direction and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the organization. The role primarily encompasses understanding company policy and procedures; liaison with operations management; performance management training; answering employee benefits questions; employee relations; and general support of the organization's human resources objectives and strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Act as liaison between employee and management to questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
  • Ensure an effective system is in place for performance management and employee relations.
  • Promote collaboration and positive communication across different levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate salary and hourly employee benefit programs such as performance appraisal, service awards, incentive plans, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement programs, incentive programs and more.
  • Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the duties.
  • Coordinate and maintain personnel transactions and record-keeping, including insurance, longevity, retirement, and disability.
  • Applies the laws, regulations, and principles of equal employment opportunity to personnel situations.
  • Some responsibilities in training and development

Position requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. SHRM/PHR Certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ related experience in manufacturing or distribution and experience managing others.
  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.
  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player and calming influence. An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
  • An excellent facilitator who is experienced in resolving conflicts between different parties.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and an HRIS/applicant tracking system.
