Are you an experienced Human Resources Manager looking for an excellent opportunity?
If so, this is what you’ll do:
As the HR Manager, you will manage, administer and support the Human Resource activities and initiatives for the divisions and business units that will align the Human Capital with the organizational goals and objectives.
Manages, administers and supports the organization’s Human Resource and Safety practices, policies and programs, focused on the goals of the organization along with the needs of multiple locations for a balanced approach.
Researches and recommends new or enhanced Human Resources practices, policies or programs, ensuring approved changes/updates are effectively implemented and communicated throughout the organization.
Manages, coordinates and supports all recruiting activities for the plant locations/business units and collaborates with the hiring managers to ensure effective hiring.
Leads, initiates and drives the organizational performance management initiatives, championing the consistent utilization and compliance of program tools and assessments that will continuously develop leaders and measure team members success toward the business goals.
Manages, collaborates and supports the management team on tough employee issues, investigations, and transitions providing recommendations and guidance on effective solutions and/or appropriate actions, ensuring thorough documentation, investigation and policy/procedure compliance.
Actively participates in employee relations activities and initiatives that foster an environment for employee engagement, safety, and wellness.
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership, HR or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience within human resources, managing various HR functions in a complex multi-location, manufacturing environment
Certification(s): SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
Functional Skills: Strong skillset in managing and supporting the HR activities and initiatives around Talent Management, Recruiting, Employee Relations and HR practice, policy and process compliance within a multi-location manufacturing environment; ability to provide exceptional support and guidance while becoming a trusted resource and building effective partnerships within each of the business unit locations and throughout the organization; ability to listen and solve problems calmly, objectively, and effectively, with solid reasoning; great with project management, prioritization, managing details, and follow-through, along with an excellent ability to research, develop and recommend new HR practices/policies or processes that can drive the business through people
Technology Aptitude/Skills: Experienced with HRIS applications and ability to learn proprietary software required; Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required
Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written skillset; able to present and train leaders on new HR policies.
Leadership/Behaviors: Demonstrates a high customer-service and support personality who has a strength in educating others towards best practices and creating enhanced solutions targeted towards business goals; forward thinking, with the ability to be discrete with confidential information, who is able to be collaborative and resourceful; is self-directed and can work well within a broad set of guidelines. Advises manager of obstacles and makes recommendations on thoughtful options.

Reports To: VP, Human Resources & Administration
8 am – 5 pm (schedule can be slightly flexible; will work approx. 8-9 hours within this time frame)
Typical Work Week:
M-F; some weekends required (when applicable); 45-50 hours a week on average
Approximately 30% on average
